Rogers Preferred Program: What It Is, Who Qualifies, and How to Sign Up

If you've heard coworkers mention "getting Rogers through work" or spotted the term RPP floating around, there's a decent chance you're already eligible for a discount you're not using.

What Is the Rogers Preferred Program?

The Rogers Preferred Program (RPP) is a corporate and organizational discount program. Rogers partners with select employers, government bodies, associations, and membership programs to offer reduced pricing on wireless plans. Once your eligibility is confirmed, the discount applies directly to your monthly plan, on top of whatever device deal you're already getting.

It's not a coupon code or a one-time promo. It's an ongoing discount tied to your employment, membership, or program status, so it keeps applying month after month.

Who Actually Qualifies?

RPP eligibility is broader than most people assume, and it's not only about who you work for. Common categories include:

  • Government and public sector employees

  • Healthcare workers

  • Education staff

  • Telecom and tech employees

  • Banking and financial services employees

  • Employees of large corporations and enterprises

  • Armed forces and first responders (police, firefighters, paramedics)

  • Members of eligible professional associations

Eligibility also extends beyond employment. Being a member of certain loyalty or affinity programs can qualify you too. For example, PC Optimum cardholders and Iqbal Foods members are among the groups that can access RPP pricing, along with several other programs. If you're not sure whether your employer, membership, or card qualifies, the fastest way to find out is to just ask rather than assume you don't.

What You Actually Get

The core benefit is discounted monthly pricing on eligible plans, often with access to plan tiers not available to the general public. Most RPP plans keep the same flexibility as a regular Rogers plan too: you can typically keep your existing phone number, and family members can usually be added as additional lines under the same account.

One thing to know upfront: if you're already a Rogers customer switching into RPP, Rogers can apply a one-time enrolment fee. When you sign up through us, we waive this fee as an exclusive discount for our customers, so switching over doesn't cost you anything extra.

Check Your Eligibility

There's no automated online eligibility checker for this, and that's actually fine. Eligibility rules vary enough by employer, membership, and program that a real conversation is usually faster than guessing through a form. Reach out however's easiest:
